Craving a good read? Here's your chance! Download the full short story, "Family Treed." Trust me, it's a hilarious yet nail-biting night out that will leave you craving more!
There are days when your word well just runs dry.
Yup, I’m stumped.
I’ve been avoiding my blog all day.
I did my laundry and other chores, rather than face the blank blog.
And, worse, I promised to not be serious this week (after two weeks of serious in a row. How crazy is that??)
But it’s not that easy to be funny either. In my Dead Author Live on Facebook, I can throw on a hat and pull out some flamingos. Maybe not funny but…
= Instant silly.
So I went through the hubs’ Flickr feed for some silly (I’m aiming low this week) and found silly AND flamingos.
Score!
Did you know there are more plastic flamingos in the world than real ones? And a lot of them are in my yard. I even have a flamingo Pinterest board.
I have taken my obsession with the pink birds of joy even further. There might be flamingos in Found Girl, because science fiction romance needs the pink birds of joy, too.
You can preorder Found Girl right now and it will release on July 20th (2017 in case you’re reading this in the future).
For now, embrace your inner flamingo! Go pink!
So, dear readers, did I fulfill my promise to NOT be serious this week?
You know I love comments so much that I pick a favorite to receive my monthly AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value). (And don’t forget that once a quarter I’ll be tossing in something fun from the Perilously Fun Shop!) The recipient is announced in the first blog post of the new month.
And guess what? This IS the first post of the month! And June’s gift basket winner is:
Libby Doyle!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!
Perilously yours,
Pauline
