✨ Short Stories & Collections
Short on time? Try a short story collection for bite-sized adventures.
Perfect for sampling my style before committing to a full-length “adventure with kissing.”
How spicy are these romances?
Warm enough for happy sighs, not hot enough to singe your eyebrows. Close the door? Sometimes. Graphic how-to manual? Never. I trust your imagination—it’s very accomplished.
Why mash up romance, suspense, and sci-fi?
Because love under fire is fun. High stakes make hearts race, and spaceships make everything more complicated—in the best way. Also, explosions are terrific for pacing. (Safely on the page, of course.)
Are your heroines connected across books?
Some series have overlapping characters and Easter eggs (I see you, super-sleuths). You can read most books as standalones, but series give you that “oh hey, it’s them!” reunion energy.
What tone should I expect?
Quippy banter, competent women, good-guy heroes, and danger that occasionally kicks down the door. Expect grins, gasps, and a triumphant smooch. I don’t do mean-spirited; I do “better together.”
Do the books end on cliffhangers?
Individual romances end happy (because I like sleeping at night). Series arcs may thread through, but each main couple gets their earned HEA/HFN.
Will these books work for my book club?
Absolutely. Many titles come with discussion-friendly themes: courage, found family, second chances, doing the right thing when the odds are bonkers. I’ll even Zoom in if invited (pajamas: optional for me).
What’s the recommended reading order?
- Project Enterprise (romantic sci-fi): Start with The Key, then proceed chronologically.
- The Big Uneasy (romantic suspense/comedy): Begin with Relatively Risky and follow your favorite siblings.
- Short fiction: Jump anywhere; they’re bite-sized adventures with a kiss.
Are there content warnings?
When a story includes heavier elements (violence, trauma off-page, disaster themes), I note it in the book description. If you need specifics, ask—I’m happy to help you pick a comfy-fit read.
Where can I find reviews or leave one?
Goodreads and BookBub are great for browsing—and Amazon reviews help other adventurous readers find me. Your review doesn’t have to be long; “I laughed, then ducked an explosion” totally counts.
Can I read in KU / audio / print?
Formats vary by title, but most of my books are not available in KU. The Big Uneasy Series IS currently available in KU. However the other books are available in KoboPlus (an alternative to KU that allows me to continue to publish my books as many places as possible). They are also available in libraries. Most books are in ebook and print; some have audio. Check the book’s page for formats and retailer links. (If you want a signed copy, we can make that happen—just holler.)
Do your books have recurring themes?
Brave women who realize they’re braver than they thought. Men who step up, say the words, and walk the walk. Found families, second chances, and choosing hope—even when the alien ship is on fire.
Are these suitable for teens?
Many are teen-friendly, but I write for adults. If you’re choosing for a younger reader, ping me with the title and I’ll give you a thumbs-up or “maybe later.”
