Craving a good read? Here's your chance! Download the full short story, "Family Treed." Trust me, it's a hilarious yet nail-biting night out that will leave you craving more!
I was finally able to see my Romantic Times review! Here’s a clip from it:
It’s so lovely to have been missed! Thank you RT and Jill Smith!
I don’t have an exact release date yet for Girl Gone Nova, so I’ll keep the contest on my website running until I do. The Romance Junkies contest ends tomorrow, so if you haven’t checked that one out yet, you’re running out of time. The prize I’m offering is A Box of Texas Chocolates signed by almost all the authors. (Hey, anyone can offer a book signed by all the authors! Nothing special about that.)
I spent the week reading a friends book-in-progress, so didn’t read anything new this week. And now I’m deep in the tax preparation zone. I really don’t like this zone, but trying not to let it get me down. Now when I finish, it might not only get me down, it might kick my trash. So I thought I should probably blog before I get to the bottom line.
This April, in addition to turning mental cartwheels over my new release (hey, gravity won’t let me do actual cartwheels anymore), I’ll be hosting some of my peeps from Broad Universe here on my blog and they will be hosting me on their blogs. These are some fun broads who write science fiction and/or fantasy themed fiction and non-fiction, so it should be an interesting month here on my blog and elsewhere. Despite the fact that my TBR is threatening to eat me up, I’m always excited to find a new, favorite author. This informal broad-blog tour will, I hope, do that for all of us. 🙂
I’ve been doing ads and other promo, so if you spot an ad, or see a mention of me or Girl Gone Nova some place and let me know, send me your snail mail and I’ll send you one of my fresh-off-the-press, newly retooled bookmarks. You can choose between the science fiction/paranormal one, the contemporary romance one, or the steampunk one! I’ll even pay the postage to get it to you!
No movies this week and the usual TV winding down to season finales. I hear Leonard and Penny are going to break up for a while. The writing has been good so far, so will trust them–for now. But be warned. I liked them together! 🙁
March came in like a lion and it might be going out like a lamb. We’ll see how that goes. In the meantime, I hope that your week goes well, you get a tax refund and books, books and more books!
Perilously yours,
Pauline
