This is not actually video. It’s audio, but it is hilarious. Seriously hilarious. Of course, it also makes you want to thunk your head against your desk. But laughing is better for your noggin.
I had a hard time narrowing down the links this week. I have this email folder I call “interesting stuff.” It’s kind of random, because it is about stuff that interests me. So here we go:
We’ll start with the funny stuff.
I love Suburban Jungle, but this post by Jenny really hit home with me (even though I’m in the grandma zone now): The 6 Types of Moms You Never Want to get Stuck with.
And then there’s “The United States of Spandex” which made me LOL.
A really great blog post on “High Concept Blogging” from Jenny Hansen.
And just in time for the holiday season, Two Nerdy Girls of History tell us how to “Bake a Twelfth Night Cake.”
If you a) are stumped about what to buy for the person who has everything and/or b) love the quirky and unusual, check out these Steampunk Snow Globes. They are seriously cool.
While I have never written any holiday themed stories, one thing I used to love about the holidays was the time to sit down and read. And sometimes, when time is short, I re-read. Maybe I got in the habit of re-reading when I was editing my books. But I think it is more about hating to leave old friends. Or maybe a need to revisit books that made me sigh with delight. Cause books are the friends I take with me when I have to move. 🙂
How has your week gone? Any laughs? Sighs? Great linky finds? Time to read in your future?
Comments are entered into my $10 AnaBanana monthly gift card drawing. Winner is announced the first blog post of the month.
Perilously, yes still thankfully, yours
