I Was Not in This Race…

Relay race start flag
These banners marked the starting line at the opening ceremonies of the 2013 Grand Teton Relays in Ashton Idaho. The Relay is a 24 to 32 hour, 180 mile race from Ashton Idaho to Grand Teton Village, Wyoming across the areas mountains and valleys including the Tetons and Jackson Hole. …but one of my daughters was and the hubs was there taking pictures. I had to share because I think the banner is a hoot. (I know, using hoot makes me sound old. News flash, I am old.) Though I did not run, it must be confessed, if Sasquatch was chasing me, I would run. I would also flee zombies and bears, though I’m pretty sure they would take me down pretty fast. (See news flash above.)

Because I have post #hermitroadtrip brain, this is all I got. I am wondering what you would run from? See, I had a question in me, even if it is a lame one. But, lame or not, your answer will be entered into my monthly drawing for an AnaBanana gift basket. It won’t make you faster, but you will die happier. Really. I wouldn’t lie to you. Though I do make things up. But only in my books.
