Craving a good read? Here's your chance! Download the full short story, "Family Treed." Trust me, it's a hilarious yet nail-biting night out that will leave you craving more!
I don’t have a special guest author today! I’ve been distracted by the weather and our little wild kingdom, and forgot to harass, I mean, invite some authors to stop by. I will get to work on that, but in the meantime, what’s an author/avid reader to do with an open blog spot?
Well, the author would like squee a bit about giving Project Enterprise some new covers. I’ve been pasting them all over my social media (#excitedauthors oh my), the image above is all I will post. If you want to check the books out, just click on the image.
Aren’t they pretty? I have the cover for the new book, too, but I can’t reveal it until I have preorder set up and I’m not ready for that. But it’s coming, possibly as early as this spring. It feels SO good to be writing again.
And will now move on to being a reader. 🙂
One of the things I’ve done here in the past is “eReader diving.” Basically I open up my eReader and take a look at what I’m reading, or have stacked up in my TBR pile. I had been banning myself from buying new books, but winter happened. Piles of winter happened.
So what does Perilous Pauline have on her eReader? Well, let’s take a look…
2016 was a great year for fans of Veronica Scott, she released four books in 2016, including the long awaited sequel to Wreck of the Nebula Dream. She’s stopped by to share the story behind these stories right here on this blog!
Another favorite author is Alexis Glynn Latner, who continues to release books her Aeon’s Legacy series. Hurricane Moon starts the series, which continues in Downfall Tide and Star Crossing.
In news great for glomming books, but bad if you’re trying to manage you To Be Read pile, Elizabeth Cadell’s heirs are re-releasing her books (including some really rare, hard-to-find) books into digital! They are releasing with original titles and content (apparently her US publishers liked to change her titles AND edit out chunks of text).
I have some S.E. Smith books queued up as a reward for getting my work (book) done, including The Night of the Demented Symbiots. Even if I didn’t already know this author writes fun, funny fiction, the title would have made me click. lol
I picked up a few free, and not free books recently:
The Stuff of Legend by Greta Van Der Rol
Riding Redemption by Jolie Mason
In Fairleigh Field by Rhys Bowen
I was intrigued by the premise of Solitude (last man and woman on Earth and she’s stuck on the space station), by Dean M. Cole. It’s a series and I have not picked up the next book. Still trying to decide if I liked it. The blurb or one of the reviews said there was a romance. I’d say, not by my standards. But it was an interesting read.
Well, there’s more, so much more! But I don’t want to exhaust your patience, so let me ask YOU, what’s on your eReader? What are you reading? Anxious to read! Do you preorder books so you won’t forget to buy them?
I love comments so much that I pick a favorite to receive my monthly AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value). (And don’t forget that once a quarter I’ll be tossing in something fun from the Perilously Fun Shop!) Recipient is announced the first blog post of the new month.
Perilously yours,
Pauline
