Craving a good read? Here's your chance! Download the full short story, "Family Treed." Trust me, it's a hilarious yet nail-biting night out that will leave you craving more!
This image popped out of the hub’s Flickr feed. Like it popped out and almost bit me on the face. I’m glad it’s just the skull and not the Camarasaurus. More and more, I’m just glad I wasn’t born during the Jurassic Period early, middle, or late. (Though it seems to be an herbivore, I’m glad I don’t have to find out.)
Here’s more from the hubs:
“Camarasaurus was a big animal. Fossils indicate that it was often anywhere between 15m (49 ft) to 19.5m (64 ft) long, could stand over 4.6m ( 15 ft) high at the hips, and weigh more than 5.4 tonnes (6 tons). To give the viewer an idea as to scale for this skull, the biggest teeth are around 16 cm (6.3 inches long).”
Now I’m around 5’4”, so yeah, no desire to meet this one anywhere, despite the um, cheerful, grin.
How has the week been treating you? Ready for Friday and the weekend?
Perilously yours,
Pauline
