This was the view of the Yellowstone Highway and the West Cody Strip, looking toward the mountains, the morning after the Labor Day 2020 snowstorm hit Cody Wyoming. Most of the snow in town had already melted before this photo was taken but the mountains are still white. Cedar Mountain is on the left, Shoshone Canyon in the middle, and Rattlesnake Mountain, still covered in clouds, on the right.

We had a snow storm move through our area last week, dropping temperatures below freezing. It isn’t unprecedented. Our official growing season is June 1 – August 31, but we always have hope of a longer one. 

But of course, this is 2020. So…
