“Hitting” More Icebergs #HubsPhoto

Winter's big chill continues!

Icebergs on Jökulsárlón
Icebergs on the west side of Jökulsárlón which is located on Iceland’s southeast coast. The brown hills on the north side of the proglacial lake are the terminal moraine of Breiðamerkurjökul, the glacier that sources the icebergs. A lobe of that glacier can be seen in the upper part of the photograph. Copyright by WyoJones. All rights reserved. Used with permission.

I find this photo so fascinating. There is such contrast with the bare hills, the water, and the distant glacier. It is forbidding and beautiful (and a great place for some characters to face).

And this photo winds up the big chill of January very nicely. haha (I fear February will bring more chill, it sure did last year, but I’ll try to move on from Iceland — at least here on the blog!).

Hoping you’re staying warmer than this photo!

Perilously yours,

Pauline
