Don’t Go Into the #Wormhole!

Evening Overlook Crater Eruption
Unforgettable is the view into Overlook Crater within Halema‘uma‘u Crater after dark. Fountains of lava, and the molten lava lake, not visible during the day, are visible in the night. This photo was taken from the overlook just outside the Jaggar Museum in Hawai’i National park using a telephoto lens. Copyright by WyoJones. All rights reserved. Used with permission.

In the next few weeks, I plan to share the hubs’ pictures that he took during our Hawaii holiday adventure. But this seemed like a good one to start with. I mean, holy cow! Lava!

So yeah, don’t jump in there unless you’d like to come out in the next life. (I will admit that I spent a few minutes of my vacation pondering the ramifications of being on an island with several active volcanos and wondering how fast you’d die if there was a big eruption…)

So what would you think about while looking into this? What would you ponder?

Perilously yours,

Pauline
