Lights Through the #Wormhole

lanterns in window of old building

We’ll Leave The Light On For You
A row of lanterns hang in the window of an abandoned mercantile building along Main Street in Bearcreek, Montana. Most of the town’s 2,000 residents left after the Smith Mine disaster (1943) due to the affects of the tragedy on the mines and people in the area combined with a national decline in coal prices and underground coal mining. The lamps hang in the window like they’re beckoning the people (and the good old days) to come back to Beavercreek. Copyright by WyoJones. All rights reserved. Used with permission.

Okay, once again, not much to do with wormholes and a lot of do with me falling in love with one of the hubs photos. How could I not share this?

Was I right?

I love comments so much that I pick a favorite to receive my monthly AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value).  (And don’t forget that once a quarter I’ll be tossing in something fun from the Perilously Fun Shop!) Recipient is announced the first blog post of the new month.

(I know I missed announcing a basket winner in August, due to the loss of my parents, but will giveaway TWO in September. I promise.)

Perilously yours,

Pauline
